Having a birthday on a Friday just feels like an excuse to party. So naturally, I wrote a birthday poem to sum up how I feel. Happy Friday, Fam!

Sláinte to the quiet man in the corner

enjoying a pint for his mind’s sake

Minding his own business

For time’s sake

Making amends with time for his mind’s sake

While the pint does the work

He processes the peace that the quiet provides

Sláinte to the quiet man in the corner.


Why is my mind the loudest quiet man of all

Projecting more than a megaphone but with no sound

It's surreal in the grand scheme of sounds

The words don’t exist

unless spoken, so they can be heard

or written so that they can be read.


Senseis are not born without persistence or peace or chaos

Sláinte to the quiet man in the corner.

Well, as you may (or may not) know, we have a tradition of releasing the new Mr. Lynch by Imperfects Line on my Birthday each year. Unfortunately, it has been a hectic second half of the year with way too many changes and growing pains so I’ve not been able to complete the new collection for the 12/1 drop but I’ll tell you this… it’s comin'. And it's gangster and it’s got my whole heart sewn into its sleeves (pun intended, it will make sense someday soon). Fabric sneak peek in the background. Stay Tuned.
