Life isn't a race, so enjoy the ride
As curated by Tucker Stosic
Art Director, Designer

I am an art director and designer who specializes in creating artwork for some of the most renowned names in the music industry.
I’ve created everything from album art to tour merch for the likes of Maroon 5, Aerosmith, Nirvana, the Grateful Dead, Wu-Tang Clan, Daft Punk, Twenty One Pilots, and John Mayer
The closer the gas pedal is to the floor, the more fuel it injects into the engine, causing it to run out more quickly.
I’ve learned that easing off the gas pedal has allowed me to coast further and reduce the frequency of running on empty. This is all a metaphor, of course. It often feels like if we're not constantly pushing ourselves to the limit, we're falling behind. It's easy to compare ourselves to others when we see their projects and successes posted online, but that can lead to burnout. Taking a step back and realizing that it's okay to not be grinding 24/7 has led me to increased energy and a more consistent and inspired creative output. Life isn’t a race, so enjoy the ride.

What's been keeping you grounded?
Tahoe has had a killer late season this year, and getting up to the hill has been the fuel for my tank. When you are in the mountains, you’re forced to be present, and not and not think about your next life goals. Your focus centers on what's around you; the next tree, the next bump. Spending some time shredding some laps is the ideal way for me to take my foot off the gas, enjoy coasting, and come back feeling refreshed with fuel in the tank.

What are you into lately?
This year, I finally started running and completed my first two half marathons. Running is not a sport I was naturally inclined towards, but it was something I wanted to pursue. Setting a goal to train for a half marathon kept me motivated and on track. I find that running is beneficial for both my mental and physical health. During long runs of 12 miles, it's all about having the right mindset to push yourself even when your body is tired.
WHAT IM ROCKIN
Poem of the Week
What I'm into lately
Recently, I have been exploring the art of making stained glass. As I've taken a step back from constantly trying to produce creative work, I have found myself feeling more inspired to experiment with creativity. Stained glass is entirely different from design and art direction, and I feel like I can fully immerse myself in the process and try out different techniques. There is no pressure to deliver anything to anyone except for myself, and it feels liberating to try something new without any expectations.
What are you reading?
After watching the new Dune movie, I recently completed reading the second and third books of the series. Even after 50 years, these books still stand out as some of the best works of science fiction ever written. I truly cannot wait to see how they will adapt the next movie.
What are you drinking?
I’m pretty addicted to Chi Forest Sparkling Water right now, especially the Lychee flavor.
