If you know Imperfects, you know we almost never go on sale.


Very occasionally, we lower the price barrier and open the flood gates to the homies who want to save some doh and score some imperfection action. It’s a special moment when we discount ourselves because we price our products very reasonably for what they cost to produce - I have always believed that the highest of quality should be the standard and that the standard should be accessible. That said, the cost of doing business in the world today using the most innovative materials and the most responsible processes is expensive! So naturally, even what we consider ‘accessible’ (in comparing ourselves to the market, quality to cost ratio wise) is oftentimes not easy to justify for a lot of wallets. 

Let me be clear about the above, we only celebrate this big sale moment for one reason each year: to get you in your first or third piece of Imperf. We make almost nothing when we wipe 30-70% off of our Retail Price Point, it’s painful tbh, but I am truly in this game for the long-haul and I believe that once you try our quality, you will come back for more - that’s my my truest form of marketing for right now in this early state of business.

What's been keeping you grounded?

We face the gnarliest of struggles being a small start up California business making 80% of our product in California - the costs are just wild and 99% of the time, we lose money, but we fight on because we are aiming for the horizon and trusting that we are grinding along on the right path chasing this dream of real people doing real things for good; one foot after the other baby. Some may call this guerrilla marketing and I am more than ok with that, we are building a community of trust and quality based around self-expression - our garments are the best first impression we can share of ourselves to this world and we aim to create reliability in your closet. The best tool we’ve got is the opportunity to prove ourselves to you and our future customers. Enjoy some Imperf at a discount this week and please, wear whatever piece you buy with pride knowing that nothing but love and soul went into building that item.
