Today, Imperfects is a growing concept producing unique surf, skate, and apparel from our showroom and warehouse in San Diego, CA. We are a diverse group of humans who have made it our mission to help others realize, your strengths are your imperfections and they make you unique and one of a kind.

Imperfects is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Retail Team as a Retail Crew Member.

Up to the task? Here’s a taste of the responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.
  • Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience.

Sales Support

  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately at the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Meet or exceed daily sales goals and contribute to team success.
  • Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Support Online Customer Service needs during slow in-person traffic times.

Store Maintenance

  • Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Restock merchandise as needed and ensure displays are well-maintained.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing new stock.

Product Knowledge

  • Develop a deep understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and uses.
  • Stay informed about new arrivals, trends, and brand updates.
  • Educate customers about our brand’s commitment to ethical business practices and mindful production.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with fellow crew members to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and company events.
  • Support other areas of the store as needed, including merchandising and stockroom duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This job might be for you if you’ve got:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in the clothing, surf, or skate industry.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for surf and skate culture.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful retail team.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • A strong sense of style and an eye for visual merchandising.
