Today, Imperfects is a growing concept producing unique surf, skate, and apparel from our showroom and warehouse in San Diego, CA. We are a diverse group of humans who have made it our mission to help others realize, your strengths are your imperfections and they make you unique and one of a kind.
Imperfects is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our Retail Team as a Retail Crew Member.
Up to the task? Here’s a taste of the responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.
- Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience.
Sales Support
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately at the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Meet or exceed daily sales goals and contribute to team success.
- Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers.
- Support Online Customer Service needs during slow in-person traffic times.
Store Maintenance
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Restock merchandise as needed and ensure displays are well-maintained.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing new stock.
Product Knowledge
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, including their features, benefits, and uses.
- Stay informed about new arrivals, trends, and brand updates.
- Educate customers about our brand’s commitment to ethical business practices and mindful production.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with fellow crew members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Support other areas of the store as needed, including merchandising and stockroom duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
This job might be for you if you’ve got:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in the clothing, surf, or skate industry.
- Strong knowledge and passion for surf and skate culture.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful retail team.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in retail management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A strong sense of style and an eye for visual merchandising.
