Shipyard Canvas is romantic to us in the best of ways. It is the first fabric Mike ever worked with in the name of Imperfects and the story of how he came across it makes the whole thing super special so we launch it in a new set of colors, once a year and in very limited runs. It's a long story which is best told over an ice cold ale and a blazing hot fire but the short version is that Mike was on a trip through the Coast of England and stumbled his way into an old Ship Builder's Yard where he came across a 800 year old canvas tarp. He made some pants out of it and here we are 8 years later making our aptly named Shipyard Canvas more and more special every year. Shipyard Canvas is our hardest-working, most resilient fabric.
