5’11" / 5’7" Magic Carpet (GOOFY FOOT)

The Magic Carpet - An asymmetrical slider made to make you a better surfer. This design is an ode to the father of asymmetrical board design, Carl Ekstrom. It adds a significant amount of freedom to your turning and is meant to be ridden on both lefts and rights. It is designed so that the front-side or toe-side of the shape has a longer rail for driving and the heel-side has a shorter rail with a concave twist for more turn radius and pivot. The toe side is setup as a fish twin and the heel side is setup as a performance quad.

Please note, all of our surfboards are built in house at our factory in San Diego, California. Model Design is a collaborative effort between Mike Lynch and Micah Wood. Mike has been developing most of the imperfects models for 10+ years and Micah joined the family in 2021 and has been a major influence on refining our Craft. Micah brings 25+ years of experience to Imperfects Surf Craft and between the two gents, there is over 35 years of surf board experience. Mike and Micah build every single board that comes through our factory from start to finish.
